Cette année, la France aura l’honneur d’accueillir les Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques d’été à Paris.
Avant la cérémonie d’ouverture qui aura lieu le 26 juillet, la flamme olympique traversera un total de 65 villes en France, dont 11 communes essonniennes.
La Ville d’Évry-Courcouronnes est très fière de faire partie des villes sélectionnées pour accueillir le passage de la flamme et vous donne rendez-vous le lundi 22 juillet pour une journée de fête et de célébration.
Pour les habitants comme pour les clubs et tous les acteurs sportifs de la ville, ce sera une occasion unique de participer à la dynamique des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques et de porter, haut et fort, des valeurs comme la fraternité, le dépassement de soi et le respect de l’adversaire.
L’incontournable Fête des Tourelles est organisée par le Conseil de quartier Evry-Sud, conçue pour rassembler l’ensemble des habitants et mettre en valeur ce lieu verdoyant. L’objectif principal est de créer une atmosphère festive et conviviale tout en offrant une variété d’activités et d’animations pour divertir les familles.

En cette année olympique, le Carnaval d’Évry-Courcouronnes portera sur le thème des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques. L’événement aura lieu samedi 27 avril à partir de 13h.
Dès à présent, petits et grands sont invités à laisser libre cours à leur imagination et à leur créativité en fabriquant des costumes et des décors uniques dans les accueils de loisirs et les Maisons de quartier-Centres sociaux.
Le jour J, les cortèges colorés partiront de tous les quartiers en début d’après-midi pour se retrouver sur la place des Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen aux alentours de 16h30. Des animations artistiques et musicales ponctueront la journée pour faire de cette année encore du Carnaval l’un des plus grands rassemblements populaire et festif notre ville.
